This Privacy Policy applies to JAYCO Technologies ("JAYCO Tech", "we", "our", or "us"), a technology company registered and operating in Karachi, Pakistan. We operate jaycotech.pk and shop.jaycotech.pk, providing enterprise IT hardware, certified refurbished devices, repair services, and trade-in services.

We collect personal information only when you voluntarily provide it:

  • Contact details - name, WhatsApp/phone number, email address
  • Order information - delivery address, city, product selections, quantity
  • Enquiry information - messages via contact forms or WhatsApp
  • Trade-in details - device model, storage, condition, battery health, and photos
  • Repair details - device type, fault description, and contact details
  • Technical data - IP address, browser type, pages visited, collected automatically

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Process and fulfil your orders and arrange delivery
  • Respond to enquiries and provide customer support
  • Send order confirmations and updates via WhatsApp or email
  • Provide trade-in quotes and manage trade-in transactions
  • Book and manage repair appointments
  • Send warranty documentation and claim updates

  • Comply with legal obligations under Pakistani law

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. WhatsApp Communications

Our primary communication channel is WhatsApp. When you contact us via WhatsApp - including through pre-filled enquiry links on our website - your WhatsApp number and message content will be received and stored by our team solely to respond to your enquiry.

WhatsApp communications are also subject to WhatsApp's own Privacy Policy.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only in limited circumstances:

  • Delivery partners - couriers receive your name, address, and phone to fulfil your order
  • Payment processors - payment details go directly to the provider; we do not store card details
  • Legal requirements - if required by Pakistani law or court order
  • Internal systems - our CRM and order tools, operated by JAYCO Technologies staff only

6. Data Retention

  • Order records retained for minimum 5 years for accounting and warranty purposes
  • Enquiry records retained for 2 years
  • Trade-in records retained for 3 years
  • You may request deletion at any time (see Section 8)

Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

For significant changes, we will notify you via email or WhatsApp where we hold your contact details.
